Oh baby girl, my how time flies. You are seven months today. Goodness. My absolute favorite picture of you lately. This completely captures you. Calm, curious, happy, gorgeous, yummy, pure, and such a true joy. You love to laugh, and it is so, so contagious. Smiling is a constant expression on your gorgeous face, sucking your bottom lip & thumb, rocking back & forth on your knees, trying to crawl using your hands and feet, GROWLING <<< it is so cute, and snuggling into my neck and shoulder. Ballerina Poodlena.

Beautiful P. You love to dance secretly. No one would ever guess it by watching you in the first five minutes of dance class, but you do. Really. You walk in confident as ever to class, put those tap shoes on and ZIP! You are silent. Confident, but silent. Just wait til the teacher busts out with the train song. Off you go. Dancing star. Then comes the ballet shoes and princess song. How can you contain those happy little feet and wiggly little waist?! Time to put your shoes away and it happens again... confident silence. No expression, nothing. You walk out of dance class and leave it all on the floor. Love you Ballerina Poodlena.

Uh Oh.

This little girl is trouble. From the second she wakes up in the morning to the minute she falls asleep, all I want to do is spend time loving, kissing, talking, hugging, squeezing, laughing, tickling, and holding her. Cute things lately: scooting all over the house, giggling, SUCKING HER THUMB, and sitting up all by herself!!!! Oh my goodness, we are all so in love with you.

Six Months

Oh sister. You are everything I ever dreamed of and more. Why we were lucky enough to have you come in to our family, I will never know. You are beautiful beyond words. You have the BEST temperament, dreamiest eyes, turn me inside out and melt my heart smile. I am so blessed. I want to hold you so close that you can't grow... ever. However, each day you get all the more gorgeous. Happy half year. So Glad we kept you alive.... there were time P had us worried. At this point in your life you love rolling, rolling, rolling! And your mouth! You love putting your hands, feet and everything you can find in your mouth! And we can't forget your smile!! We adore you lovie.

Funnies

"Goxy" (Roxy) the dog has become Pyper's favorite girlfriend. I caught Pyper trying to polish Goxy's toenails. A few months later, she got a little nip from Goxy when she pulled out one of her whiskers. Then I found her with a hole punch and one of Goxy's ears in hand... she told Goxy she was going to get earrings. It was even better when she put lip gloss all over Goxy's nose and mouth. She would tell Roxy... "No more k Goxy?! Okay, just a little bit mo. " She would reapply the lip gloss and Goxy went to town licking it all off. To top it all off, poor Goxy gets time out for "2 minutes" all day long from Sassy Pants Pyper. She gets dowsed in lotion and sunscreen, she gets to wear hats and dishtowels for a saddle, she is a trampoline, she is a slide, she is literally Pyper's best girlfriend.

Gaje used a gift card from his bday gifts at Target to by a "Cars" truck. When he opened it, and realized it wasn't EXACTLY what he thought it was he informed me, "MOM! I am very disappointed in Target!"

In the middle of the Easter pageant, Gaje turns to me and says, " Hey! I thought we were going to the Easter pageant!!!" I explained that is exactly what we were watching. He then asked, "Well then, where is all the bunnies?!"

Pyper's new favorite movie is Strawberry Shortcake. She screams/sings the intro song and dances as soon as she hears it. It is one of the highlights of my entire day. After she did her little dance, she climbed up on her bed, grabbed her babydoll, and said, "Baby! See! Cup-cake!" Holding her babydoll's head up so she could watch the movie with her.

We were trying to make Pyper's new bed look really fun and enticing. I hopped up on her bed and said, "Oh, so soft. What a fun bed. Night, night Pyper!" She looked at me as she turned the off bedroom light and said, "Yeah! Night, night Mom. You seep tight!" Then turns and leaves the room. Hmm. So much for that plan.

Pyper was playing with her pretend phone. Her phone said, "Operator, may I help you?" Pyper looks at the phone, puts it up to her ear and yells, "Yeah! I help you!" What a good helper.

Gaje was playing with Diesel and started pretending like he was training him. Gaje turned to me and said, "Mom, you know.... I am Diesel's step-dad."

We were making monkey bread one afternoon and Gaje asks me what kind of pan I was using. I answered with "bunt". Gaje started laughing hysterically, "That is crazy! A butt pan for monkey bread!" Laughs to himself for minutes.

Gaje and a preschool friend were discussing the big move. They were saying how they were going to miss each other. I explained to both of them they could write letters to each other in the mail and how fun it would be to receive mail. I said, "You can write back and forth." Gaje turned to his friend and said, "I'll be back and you be forth."

In the middle of dinner, with his mouth stuffed full Gaje yells, "Ah, this is sooo yummy. There is a party going on in my tummy!!!!!"

Gaje, "Why does Nana always get to stay with Papa?!"
Mom, "Well, because Nana is Papa's wife."
Gaje, "Ugggh!!!! I am Papa's wife too you know!!"

(In the car) Mom, "I am so proud of you for helping Papa today in his garage. "
Gaje, "Yeah, he even gave me two dollars. Like two number 1's... you know?"
Mom, "Yes, that is great. If you want to help me with extra chores when we get home, you can earn some more money!"
Gaje, "I will sure help you! Thanks Mom! You know Mom...I helped Papa with a lot of 'goodness'.... My heart is beating really nice today. When I help everybody, it beats really nice and happy. I like it..... Can you turn the cold air on back here, I've been working really, really hard.... Pheeew!" (Falls asleep literally 1 minute later)

Gaje, "Dad..? Dad.... DAD? Mom! I looked and looked for Dad. I'm pretty sure we LOST HIM!!!"

Gaje, "Mom! Don't split my cheese crisp with PYPER!"
Mom, "Come on Gaje, let's share and be nice."
Gaje, "Well... I want to sell her anyway."

Gaje, "Can I go look for my little dirt bike in your room. The one you took away?"
Mom, "Okay, because you earned it back. Sure."
Gaje, "YEEEESSS! (Making a funny hand gesture.)
------After 10 minutes-------
Gaje, "Mom. I couldn't find my dirt bike. I looked, and I looked, and I looked-ed. Mom. First off, sorry I trash-ted your room."

I walk in to my bedroom to see Gaje on my bed with a plain white tee on and under the covers. Gaje sees me and looks up, "Hi honey! .... HA! I am Dad, and you are honey!" (Giggles)

Gaje, "Mom. Make me a waffle, PLEASE!"
We both laugh at how goofy he is. He eats his entire waffle in like 2 seconds flat. Pyper has only eaten half of hers, and got down to dance.
Gaje, "Mom, can you make me another waffle. My belly is super hungry."
Mom, "Just finish Pyper's, she is all done."
Gaje looks over at it, as if it was a disease. Then looks at me disgusted.
Gaje, "Well. I don't know. It kinda smells like Pyper."

Ryan gave Gaje a school blessing to start the school year off. After the blessing Gaje was grinning ear to ear. I asked Gaje how he felt. He looked around the room with out letting his smile fade and said, "Like flowers."

I hear the kids playing in Gaje's room, and leave them alone. They are so cute together, I am thinking. I hear them using Gaje's pretend tools and they are "at work like Daddy". Perfect. Time to get things done. After a few minutes I hear Gaje, "Pyps. This is lookin' good. Good job." I smile to myself, and then stop immediately. Too good to be true. I sprint into Gaje's room to find.... golf tees. Hammered into the wall. At least 12. Fabulous. Just Fabulous.
